Rakuten Eagles announced on the 28th that Shusa Otsuka, a member of the Japanese women's rugby team, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at their game against Softbank Hawks on April 2nd.

Additionally, Ayano Sakurai, also a member of the Japanese women's rugby national team, will be in attendance that day and will appear on stage and on the radio alongside Otsuka.
