Nippon-Ham Fighters manager Tsuyoshi Shinjo held a pre-season press conference on the 26th at Mizuho PayPay, together with Softbank Hawks Hawks manager Hiroki Kokubo.

When asked about each other's slogans, he mentioned Softbank Hawks 's "Zenshin" (All New) rather than Nippon-Ham 's "DOMIre!" (Dominate!). "No, no, I thought they were thinking of me. Winning against Shinjo in every way is Zenshin, right? (laughs) Or am I wrong?" he said with a laugh.

He continued, talking about Softbank Hawks 's slogans: "They always seem to have a sense of complacency when it comes to their slogans. It's kind of annoying. Last year it was the playoffs, this year it's the complete sweep, and (Softbank Hawks) has never won three consecutive championships, so I want my beloved manager Kokubo to win three in a row, but we're going to stop that."
