　２４年の育成ドラフト１位で大宮東から入団した２年目の左腕。１８６センチ、８０キロと上背もあり、スリークオーターから腕の出がややや遅く、打者がタイミングを取りづらい独特のフォーム。１５０キロ超の速球にパームボールも駆使する。１年目にウェートトレーニングで体が大きくなったことに加え、フォームの動作分析で球速がアップ。昨年のイースタン・リーグロッテ戦で首位打者２度の角中から１５０キロの速球で空振りを奪い「すごい実感がわきました」と自信をつかんだ場面を振り返った。
