On the 22nd, Orix Buffaloes announced that boat racer Koji Yukawa will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at their game against Rakuten Eagles on March 29th.

The race that day was sponsored by Boat Race Suminoe and was called the "Boat Race Suminoe GI Taiko Prize Race".
The event will be held. Plans include a photo session with impressionist comedian Nitchiro and a lucky draw where attendees can win original Quo cards.
