Orix Buffaloes 's new foreign player, infielder Bob Seymour (27) = formerly of the Rays = hit his first extra-base hit in Japan in his 22nd at-bat of the spring training games. The left-handed slugger candidate started at "number 3, first base". In the 5th inning with two outs and a ball, he connected with Yoshimura's fastball for a double to left-center doble.
