Before the exhibition game between Seibu Lions and Hanshin Tigers being held at Koshien, both teams observed a moment of silence.

This day marked the 15th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake. Flags were flown at half-mast at the stadium, and both teams lined up for about a minute before the game to mourn the victims.
