◆Pre-season Rakuten Eagles and Nippon-Ham (11th, Shizuoka)

Nippon-Ham announced starting line-up. Local infielder Taiki Narama (25), from Kikugawa City, Shizuoka, was selected as the fourth batter and third baseman. He made a triumphant return to the mecca of Shizuoka high school baseball, where he fought many fierce battles during his time at Tokoha University Kikugawa. He hit Home Run at the same stadium during his high school days, and said, "It's a good image." Many family and friends came to support him, and he expressed even more fighting spirit, saying, "Since it's my hometown, I want to show my best. The entire Narama family will be there."
