◆Pre-season game Softbank Hawks 2-2 The Giants (10th, Ube)

Softbank Hawks pitcher Taiga Kamichatani closer the score at runs for three innings.

He took to mound as the third pitcher in the sixth inning, and used slider, change-up, and other breaking ball to keep The Giants batting line at bay. He walked Walk, but strike out three and hit. "I walked a lot of Walk, so my performance wasn't great," he said, but he played his role well.

During pitcher practice at Mizuho PayPay Dome on the 9th, he improved fork. In a conversation with Uesawa, he came up with the idea of releasing the ball without raising his wrist, imagining it as a cat's paw. He had wanted to try it out in this game, but he said, "I threw it quite hard. But I didn't strike out at all. I couldn't become a cat at all," which seems to have been a little different from what he had imagined. "It's no good. I'll practice," he said, continuing trial and error.
