Orix Buffaloes won a comfortable victory over Lotte, with outfielder Ryoma Nishikawa hitting the Home Run run, the team's first in the exhibition games.

In the first inning, leadoff batter Mune hit doble down the right field line, and with one out and a runner on third, Ota scored the first run with sacrifice fly to center field. With the score tied at 1-1, leadoff batter Nishikawa hit a solo home run over the right field fence to take the lead. "I was able to swing well and hit the ball without any force," he said.
