On the 9th, Seibu Lions announced that the "PR1DE SERIES" project, which will see fans walk through Takumi Kuriyama 's final season together, will be held on April 11th and 12th at the Lotte Marines games. On both days, a special exhibition of valuable jersey from the past will be held, and the "Weekly Baseball Takumi Kuriyama Special Issue," which includes interviews with Kuriyama from his early days with the team, will also be distributed.
The special exhibition "PR1DE SERIES Episode '1'" traces the career of player Kuriyama, showcasing jersey owned by Kuriyama himself, allowing visitors to experience his 25-year journey. The exhibition features highly coveted items for fans, including number 52 jersey he wore for the first six years after joining the team, as well as limited-edition jersey.
Additionally, at the main gate on both days, the first 15,000 people to arrive will receive the "Weekly Baseball Takumi Kuriyama Special Edition." The magazine features a rare first interview conducted shortly after he turned pro, looking back at Kuriyama in his younger days. There will also be a photo spot where you can take a commemorative photo of your participation in the series, as well as an event using exclusive instax frames.
Furthermore, a voting project called "Memory: Memorable 'One Scene'" has also started today. Fans can vote for their favorite memorable scene from the many memorable moments of Kuriyama that have been released on the special website. The top six scenes that receive the most "feelings" will be used for decorations inside Seibu Lions Station during the 'PR1DE SERIES' games held from June 26th (Fri) to 28th (Sun), and will also be used for merchandise sales.
