◆Pre-season game: Hanshin Tigers 1-0 Softbank Hawks (7th, Koshien)

Softbank Hawks manager Hiroki Kokubo couldn't help but laugh at the unexpected behavior of Hanshin Tigers 's new foreign player. After Moretta pitched in the eighth inning and got three outs, he calmly walked back toward Softbank Hawks third base bench, not Hanshin Tigers first base bench. Hanshin Tigers manager Fujikawa hurriedly called him back, creating a hilarious scene, but Kokubo also looked puzzled, asking, "Why did he come?" When asked if it was his first time pitching at Koshien, he smiled and recalled, "I guess it was his first year. I think the third base side was home until last year. I went to tell pitcher (that he was being replaced), and Moretta came down, so I was surprised."
