Nippon-Ham 's first-round draft pick, infielder (Hokkai Gakuen University), recorded his first hit and first RBI in the exhibition game.

In his second at-bat in the third inning, with one out and runners on second and third, he hit breaking ball from Lotte's starting pitcher, Haru Tanaka. He hit a two-run triple deep into left-center field against a defensive defense. As he slid into third base, he made a "DOMI!" pose toward the bench.
