On the 6th, Seibu Lions announced that they will be running a campaign to predict the starting lineup for the opening game against Lotte on March 27th, as well as the player with the most hit in the six consecutive games against Orix Buffaloes starting on the 31st and Rakuten Eagles starting on April 3rd.

In the "The Lions" campaign, held in anticipation of the opening game against Lotte on March 27th, participants predict the positions and batting order of the Lions' starting line-up. To enter, select players from a total of 101 players, including development players, on the campaign's special website and post your selections on X. Those who correctly match all the players will receive prizes such as a roster signed by manager Fumiya Nishiguchi that was actually used in the opening game.

The "#BreakthroughAward" asks participants to predict the player with the most hit in the six consecutive home opening games starting on the 31st, as well as the number hit hit player will have. Participants can also participate through the special website, and those who guess correctly will receive a poster autographed by the player with the most hit.

Coach Nishiguchi's comments are as follows.

Each player's performance has shone through in actual games, and the fierce competition starting line-up continues. There are some players who I think should be in starting line-up for the opening game, but I will decide based on their future performance, including the opening pitcher. By getting all the fans to participate in this campaign, I hope to build momentum for the opening game. Together with all the fans, I will fight for the championship.
