Orix Buffaloes Anderson Espinoza pitcher joined the pre-game practice on February 6. He left Japan in late February to attend the birth of his first son with his partner, and returned to the U.S. The baby was born safely on February 25, and he came back to Japan on February 4. I cried when I saw him for the first time. I cried when I saw him for the first time.

He is such a Japanophile that he even got the word "gratitude" tattooed on his neck, and as planned, he gave his baby the Japanese name "Kenzou." "When my wife (partner) and I were looking for something that sounded nice, we first decided on 'Kenzou'. We learned that each kanji character has a meaning, so we looked it up and said, 'Maybe we should go with this one.'" He explained. This season, he aims to achieve his first double-digit win and no hitter. "Until now, I felt like I was pitching only for myself, but now I have a new feeling that I want to pitch for my baby," he said with a smile.

"I've pitched four inning over there. My preparation is going well, and I'll be ready for the opening game," he declared. As the breadwinner of his family, he intends to swing his arm with all his might.
