◆Pre-season game: Softbank Hawks 1-3 Yakult (4th, Mizuho PayPay)

Softbank Hawks pitcher Ryosuke Otsu took the mound as the second reliever from the fifth inning and pitched three innings, allowing one hit and no runs. He also got a good response from slider, which he had changed the grip of and made less curved.

Last season, he established himself in the starting rotation in the second half of the season, with a record of 6 wins and 2 losses and ERA of 1.92. This season, he is aiming to be in the rotation from the start of the season. "I want to make people think that I'm an absolute must-have in the rotation, so I'm going to show that with results," he said enthusiastically.
