On the 4th, Orix Buffaloes announced that YUTO will be the new stadium MC "Stadium Voice," who will be in charge of announcing home games starting with the 2026 season. Having beaten a selection competition of over 200 to 1, YUTO is the youngest person to be appointed to the role in the team's history. He will take over from his predecessor, Yusuke Kobe, who served in the role for eight years from 2018, and will make his debut in the exhibition game against Hiroshima (Kyocera Dome Osaka) on the same day.
Originally from Hyogo Prefecture, YUTO is a die-hard Orix Buffaloes fan who has frequented Kyocera Dome Osaka since he was an elementary school student and witnessed countless joyous moments. He won the big role with his English skills, which he honed at a junior college in the United States, and his fresh sensibilities as a 23-year-old.
"Nice to meet you! I'm YUTO, and I'll be the stadium voice starting this season. I'm very honored to be able to participate as a voice at The Buffaloes games, a team I've supported since I was a child. First of all, I'll do my best at every game and liven up the venue so that I can be recognized by everyone! I look forward to your support," he commented.
