Softbank Hawks 's Yuki Yanagita

Softbank Hawks Yuki Yanagita outfielder reflected on the last day of the Miyazaki camp on January 1, saying, "We've done it.

He did not play in the exhibition game against Seibu Lions (Ivy Stadium) that day, and instead headed back to Fukuoka. "I was unable to practice at the end due to neck pain, so I want to get my (power) back as soon as possible. I'll give it about a week to get back into shape, and then I'll be able to produce results from there." He missed the send-off game against Samurai Japan on the 23rd (Sunmarine) due to neck pain. He also did not take part in the Taiwan tour, but it seems he is currently able to function without any major issues. He is scheduled to return to action in the game against Yakult on the 3rd (Mizuho PayPay).

He started this camp in Group S in Chikugo, and joined the Miyazaki camp on the 14th. During practice on February 28th, he took part in a long tee run that lasted over an hour, hitting multiple home runs from the side home base to right field. He showed off his incredible power, but said, "Well, I still have a long way to go. I know my own output, so I'll work on improving that. I'll continue to work on improving my sense for actual games," and is committed to further increasing his output in preparation for the opening game.
