Samurai Japan pitcher Hiromi Ito (Nippon-Ham Fighters) gave up a home run to Chunichi Dragons infielder Rintaro Tsujimoto (24), who had not hit a single Home Run regular season until last season.

Chunichi With the score tied 1-1 in the top of the 3rd inning, Tsujimoto was hit by a sweetly hit fastball off one ball and flew out to the left home run wing for the tying run. Tsujimoto was drafted third overall in the 2011 draft out of Sendai University. Until last season, he had played in 42 games for the first team, and in 76 at bats, he had Home Run not had a single hit.

Ito threw 41 pitches over three innings, runs three hit and two strike out, while striking out two before being relieved. From the fourth inning, Chihiro Sumida (Seibu Lions) took mound as the second pitcher.
