Softbank Hawks returned home from their Taiwan expedition on the 27th.

In the "2026 Taiwan-Japan baseball International Exchange Game" (Taipei Dome), they played against the Chinatrust Brothers on the 25th and against the WBC Taiwanese team on the 26th. win both games, 7-3 and 4-0, respectively. They also experienced the famously loud cheering, with Yamakawa describing it on the 25th as "there were ceremonies and it was similar to the opening game." Many players spoke of the power of Taiwanese cheering, and it seems they gained something from experiencing the unique atmosphere before the season began.

The team returned to Japan on a chartered flight in the morning. pitcher Hsu Ruoxi, who was selected to represent Taiwan in the WBC, will remain in Taiwan and join the national team from that day. The next game will be an exhibition game (Ivy League) against Seibu Lions on March 1st.
