Softbank Hawks returned home from their Taiwan expedition on the 27th.

At the "2026 Taiwan-Japan baseball International Exchange Games" (Taipei Dome), they played against the CTBC Brothers on the 25th and the WBC Taiwan national team on the 26th. The results were 7-3 and 4-0 win in both games. They also experienced the famously loud cheering of the Taiwanese fans, with Yamakawa describing the 25th as "having a ceremony and being similar to the opening game." Many players spoke of the intensity of the Taiwanese cheering, and it seems they gained valuable experience from getting a taste of the unique atmosphere before the season even begins.

The team returned home on a chartered plane in the morning. pitcher Hsu Jo-Hsi, who has been selected for the WBC Taiwan national team, will remain in Taiwan and join the national team from today. Their next game will be an exhibition game against Seibu Lions on March 1st (at Ivy Stadium).
