On the 24th, BS10 (pronounced B-E-S-Ten), a nationwide free BS broadcasting station, announced that it has decided to broadcast the first baseball game of the year, the friendly match between Chiba Lotte Marines and the Czech Republic national team, live and free nationwide.

As an exclusive project for BS10, a special segment will be broadcast in which the head chef of the Czech Embassy will serve up traditional Czech cuisine. Commentary will be provided by Toshiaki Imae, who played for Chiba Lotte Marines and Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles. The talk will be on the WBC, and he will draw on his experience as a player when Samurai Japan, led by manager Sadaharu Oh, won the inaugural WBC in 2006.
