ground design of Kyocera Dome Osaka where artificial turf will be replaced for the first time in eight years

On the 16th, Orix Buffaloes announced that they will be replacing the artificial turf at their home stadium, Kyocera Dome Osaka. This will be the first time the artificial turf has been replaced in eight years, since 2018. Renovation work began on February 14th and is scheduled to be completed on the 28th. The artificial turf adopted is Mizuno's "MS Craft Baseball Turf," the same as in 2018, and the entire ground will be outlined in brown, with the exception of mound and areas around the bases being green. The new surface will be unveiled at the WBC warm-up games (Korea vs. Hanshin Tigers, and Japan vs. Orix Buffaloes) on March 2nd.
