Nippon-Ham 's Nao Miyanishi pitcher (40), who boasts a total of 900 appearances, the fourth highest in history, received an "order to surpass the legend" on the 12th. Participated in the 1st team Nago camp and met with temporary coach Masayoshi Yamamoto (60). In addition to the legendary left-hander who has made the most appearances in history with a total of 1002 appearances, he said, "I want you to surpass my oldest record," and was expected to surpass the coach's oldest pitch of 50 years and 1 month.

It was a fulfilling time. While throwing 54 pitches in bullpen, Miyanishi absorbed not only technical skills but also tips on maintaining his condition from coach Masahiro Yamamoto. "Technically, my performance hasn't declined drastically even as I've gotten older, but I've been struggling for the past few years with the difficulty of maintaining good condition. I had been thinking since the day before about what he was paying attention to, even though it was during my pitching, so I asked him that first," he revealed.

Furthermore, he was told that his center of gravity tends to rise as he gets older. Coach Masahiro Yamamoto explained that the dirt that used to stick to the top of his left foot when he kicked plate gradually stopped sticking, something Miyanishi had also noticed. He was advised to be more conscious of his left foot, and he said, "I was told that it's important to keep that awareness, and I realized that's absolutely true. It made me realize it again. At my age, I hardly ever get coached. It's very valuable," he said gratefully.

Regarding his record for most appearances, Miyanishi is positive, saying, "Yamamoto-san encouraged me to aim for my goal, saying that it gives me something to work hard for. I want to get closer to Iwase-san's record, even if it's just one game." Regarding his oldest appearance, he said with a wry smile, "Please spare me," but he gained confidence, saying, "He confirmed my answer. If I went into the game without a confirmation, I would be anxious, wouldn't I?" Miyanishi, who has now overcome the loneliness that comes with greatness, will now begin preparations for the opening game in order to become a force for victory.
