Lotte announced that Misho Nishikawa outfielder (22) visited a hospital in Miyakonojo, Miyazaki, on November 11 and was diagnosed with a right forearm flexor muscle injury.

Nishikawa complained of discomfort in his right forearm during defense practice on the 10th. He plans to resume batting practice after assessing his condition, and to resume throwing in three weeks.

Nishikawa had been selected as a supporting member to wear the Samurai Japan uniform for the Rugs Samurai Japan Series 2026 Nagoya Chunichi matches (March 27 and 28, Vantelin Dome) for the WBC in March, but he withdrew. Samurai Japan announced that Lotte Daito Yamamoto infielder will be added to the lineup instead.
