Returning to Nippon-Ham after a six-year absence, Kohei Arihara pitcher joined the Nago camp of the 1st Army on October 10.

Before practice began, he was introduced in a circle with players, management, and staff, and said, "People say I'm scary when I'm pitching, but that's not true. I hope you'll call out to me, and I'll do my best to communicate well." He was greeted with applause from the nine players.

Although he did not enter bullpen, he completed the entire training menu. "I know the general pace, so I hope to steadily improve as the exhibition games begin from here," he said.
