Last year, Yamazaki, Go Matsumoto, Ito, Mizutani, and Tamiya appeared on the cover, causing a huge response. This was the first time in the magazine's 55-year history that players from a professional sports team appeared on the cover as a unit of three or more people. This year, new members Kiyomiya Yuki, Gunji, Kitayama, Nomura, and Tatsu have joined the group, and the seven of them were photographed at Ace Combat. The special gravure photos on the inside pages have doubled from last year, spanning 19 pages.

This year, the players were split into three teams and took on the challenge of themed fashion shoots. Kiyomiya, Kitayama and Nomura wore colorful layered fashion for a "mischievous casual" look. Gunji and Tamiya wore knitwear and white pants for a "soothing cute" look, while Mizutani and Tatsu looked "wild and cool" in casual patterned shirts. The long interviews with the players were also full of stories about their "travels" to go along with the special feature.

An anan editor explained the appointment of the team for the second consecutive year, saying, "This was the first time in anan's history that we had a professional sports team appear on the cover, and we received a positive response not only from fans but also from many people who love sports. We feel that this delightful collaboration was made possible because of Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, led by Manager Shinjo, who values an attitude of 'having fun' in every aspect of the team. Last year's collaboration was like a treasure, and we were very keen to work with them again in 2026!"
