When asked what they call each other, Kuriyama replied, "Okawari" or "Sanpei" to Nakamura Tsuyoshi, and "Gin" or "Ginjiro" to Sumitani. Nakamura Tsuyoshi replied, "Kuri and Gin or Gin-san." Sumitani, the youngest of the group, took the microphone last and surprisingly answered, "Kuri and Sanpei or San-chan," revealing that they call each other by nicknames, which elicited laughter from the audience, and the event continued in a friendly atmosphere from start to finish.

By the way, they have never actually called each other by their nicknames, but rather just called each other "Kuriyama-san and Nakamura-san."
