Members of Rakuten Eagles My Team Council, a support group comprised of local governments and businesses in Miyagi Prefecture, the home base of Rakuten Eagles, visited the team's training camp in Kin, Okinawa on the 7th. They presented the team with local specialty products and other gifts.

The local products that were donated included 300 pieces of "Sasakamaboko" (bamboo-shaped fish cake), two bottles of "Katsuyama's victory prayer sake," 288 bottles of "Victory Tea," 288 bottles of "Chikara-sui" (powerful water), 120 kilograms of "Date Masayume" brand rice, 30 kilograms of "Kin no Ibuki" rice produced in Miyagi Prefecture, 15 kilograms of "Sendai beef," 100 packs of "Niko Niko Berry," and 500 containers of "Hagino Tsuki." Manager Hajime Miki, who received the gifts on behalf of the team, expressed his gratitude, saying, "We will use the gifts we received as energy to do our best. We will repay the favor by winning the championship."
