Rakuten Eagles... Kenta Maeda pitcher (37) attended the Kanatake Camp in Okinawa, Japan, on March 3, the second time bullpen pitch in the same camp.
He threw 30 pitches, mixing in fastballs, two seam fastball, curves, slider, and change-up. During bullpen session on the 1st, he threw a total of 18 fastballs and two seam fastball. The right-hander, who has a total of 165 wins in Japan and the US, has taken another step forward in his preparation.
Ken Maeda is returning to Japanese baseball this season for the first time in 11 years, and is expected to play a key role in the starting rotation.
