Softbank Hawks Carter Stewart Jr. pitcher his first bullpen at the Miyazaki training camp on the 3rd. It was the third day of the first training session, and he threw about 45 pitches. Mixing fastballs, curveballs, fork and more, he threw with "85 to 90 percent" (Stewart) strength, with manager Kokubo and other management watching.

Last season, he injured his left side in the camp in February and left the camp, and temporarily returned to Japan in April. He returned to Japan in May, but did not pitch. For this season, which is also the final year of his two-year contract, he is enthusiastic, saying, "I think it would be nice if I could do the same pitch as I did two years ago." He left a record of more than 24 years with 9 wins, the most of his career.
