Rakuten Eagles 's spring training camp began on the 1st. The first team will be held in Kin Town, Okinawa, and the second team will be held in Kumejima, Okinawa.

Before the start of the team practice, a welcome ceremony was held on ground, with Rakuten Eagles manager Miki giving a speech.

New players, including Ken Maeda, who is returning to Japan for the first time in 11 years, current draft pick Sato, and new right-handed relief pitcher Contreras, have started training camp for the first team. The team has begun full-scale efforts to fight back from last season's fourth-place finish.
