Lotte's first-team training camp began on the 1st at Koala March Stadium in Miyakonojo, Miyazaki.

At 10 a.m., with the temperature at about 7 degrees Celsius and a strong, cold wind blowing, first-round draft pitcher Genki Ishigaki (18) of Kendai Takasaki finished his warm-up and took off his jacket to show off his uniform with the number 18 on it to the fans in the stands. He threw a ball with a lot of movement during a game catch with fifth-round draft pitcher Hayato Fuji (23) of Nippon Express, who was wearing a blue glove.
