On the 8th, the Softbank Hawks announced their coaching staff for the upcoming season. Kenichi Wakatabe, who served as the first-team pitcher coach until this season, has been reassigned as a farm team (second to fourth team) coach, while Kenichi Nakata has been moved to the position of coordinator (pitcher). For Manager Hiroki Kokubo, who led the team to three consecutive league titles, this marks the first time in his four-year tenure that the first-team coaching staff includes no members older than himself.

Additionally, it was announced that Takashi Ogasawara (49), the second-team chief pitcher coach, will be leaving the team. Third-team pitcher coach Hayato Terahara (43) will transition to a scouting role, and Ryutaro Fukuyama, Assistant to the General Manager of Player Development and Amateur Scouting Chief, has been appointed as a coordinator (pitcher oversight).

Chief Pitching Coach and Head Coordinator (Pitching) Kurano will continue to instruct the first team, but his specific duties remain unannounced as they are currently being adjusted. Masafumi Hirai (51), who served as a coach for the Orix Buffaloes until this season, is informally set to become a first-team pitcher coach, and Yutaka Nakamura (53), who served as a coach for Chunichi, is informally set to become a farm team outfield defense and base running coach.
