Koki Yamaguchi, a Samurai Japan outfielder participating in the 'Luxas Asia Professional baseball Championship 2026' (November 12-15 at Tokyo Dome), expressed his ambition on the 6th to hit a home run in his debut as the number four hitter.

On the 7th, he will face his own team, Lotte (at Sun Marine Stadium Miyazaki). 'It's a game against Lotte, so I can't afford to lose,' he said, full of determination. The opposing starter is 20-year-old pitcher Kaishu Takahashi. 'I think (Takahashi) is a pitcher who will emerge from next year onwards. He throws good balls. I want to hit a home run off him,' he declared, promising a home run to show his seniority.

Manager Iguchi informed him of the batting order, saying, "Tomorrow, you're fourth." He showed his commitment to winning, stating, "The manager also said, 'We can't afford to lose.' Since it's Lotte, I want to win."
