Lotte announced on the 4th that they visited Hanamaki Higashi High School to pay a formal visit to Toma Sasaki, the pitcher selected as their second-round developmental draft pick.
Amateur Scouting Director Yasuhiro Enoki and regional scout Tsuyoshi Yaginuma also attended the introductory meeting. Sasaki commented through the team, "I know I still have many areas to improve, so I will work as hard as I can, focusing first on earning a spot on the active roster."
