Professional baseball's Nippon-Ham will embark on a salmon farming business. On the 4th, The Fighters Sport & Entertainment, which operates the home stadium ES CON FIELD, and Oji Salmon Road, based in Kamikawa Town, Hokkaido, announced that they will jointly farm a new brand called Shakemaru Salmon.

Shakemaru Salmon is raised in land-based tanks using snowmelt water from Mount Daisetsu and is fed a diet that includes chicken meal from the Nippon Ham Group. This results in a highly nutritious salmon with approximately twice the EPA, DHA, and Vitamin D content of typical salmon.

Starting November 7th, it will be available through the hometown tax donation system and other channels, and the Shakemaru Salmon individual owner program with special benefits will also begin. A special tank where you can observe actual Shakemaru Salmon swimming will be installed inside ES CON FIELD, allowing visitors to enjoy the atmosphere of a mini aquarium.

Next year, limited-edition gourmet dishes using Shakemaru Salmon are scheduled to be sold at food and beverage tenants within F Village and Es Con Field. This will add a new, attractive initiative that fuses food and sports.
