On the 1st, Seibu Lions pitcher Natsuki Takeuchi (25) and catcher Taiga Kojima (23) conducted pitch practice wearing PitchCom at Belluna Dome in Tokorozawa City, Saitama, in preparation for the 'RAXUS Asia Professional baseball Championship 2026' (November 12-15, Tokyo Dome).

Takeuchi practiced with a speaker in his cap and a receiver on his waist, while Kojima wore a remote control over his protective gear and earphones in his ears. It was the first time for both to wear the equipment, but Takeuchi, who threw about 30 pitches, said, 'I could hear normally without any particular problems. I don't know how it will be in the middle of the crowd's cheers, but I'm looking forward to it.' Kojima also showed confidence in adapting, saying, 'I think it will feel strange at first, and I have to memorize the buttons and everything, but I think it will be fine once I learn them.'
