Nippon-Ham announced on the 26th that they will not sign contracts for the next season with four players: pitcher Kotaro Seimiya (26), infielder Gaku Sakaguchi (23), and developmental pitchers Yamato Kato (20) and Ryodai Matsumoto (24).

Tora Kiyomiya was promoted from a developmental contract to the 70-man roster this July and appeared in one game. It appears the club has offered him a developmental contract for next season.

Sakaguchi, who joined Nippon-Ham as the fourth-round draft pick in 2021, was limited to a total of four appearances and did not play this season.
