SMBC Japan Series 2026 Game 2 DeNA vs Softbank Hawks (25th, Yokohama)
The Softbank Hawks showed their true strength in the ninth inning. With one out and trailing by a run, pinch-hitter Yamakawa hit a game-tying solo home run. He launched an incredibly massive arch into left field off the opponent's closer, Reynolds.
A veteran slugger who was named the series MVP last year after hitting a Home Run in four consecutive games starting from Game 1. Perhaps he was exceptionally happy, as he also performed his 'Dosukoi pose' for the first time, which he had kept sealed since the start of the season.
