On the 25th, Keigo Okada, an infielder from Meiji University who was selected as the second-round draft pick by the Rakuten Eagles, received a post-draft visit in Fuchu, Tokyo, from Naofumi Aikyo, the scouting department director, and Toshiyuki Hosaka from the amateur scouting group. He is a left-handed hitter who possesses both speed and power. He expressed his determination, saying, 'I want to win the Rookie of the Year award most of all. Eventually, I also want to win the stolen base title. I believe getting on base will be important, so I want to be meticulous about that as well.'

A speedster who clocked 5.69 seconds in the 50-meter dash using photoelectric sensors during the Japan National University Team candidate training camp. Scout Hesaka, who is in charge, described his appeal, saying, 'His speed is definitely his selling point, but he can also hit to all fields. If the ball gets through the gap, he can immediately aim for second or third base. A hit becomes a doble, and a doble becomes a triple. He also has that aggressive base running where he is always looking for the next base.' Muneyama from Meiji University is already with the Rakuten Eagles. Scout Hesaka expressed his high expectations, adding, 'It would be great to see that Meiji University middle infield duo. A handsome middle infield duo.'

He is a fast left-handed hitter, but his ability to swing through firmly also led to his high selection in the standings. "He swings, doesn't he? Because he swings for us, that is why his standings rank is good. There are players who just try to make contact, but he can swing and hit doble and triple." The Rakuten Eagles' second-round pick was 13th overall. "Other teams were probably aiming for him too, so it felt like saying 'excuse me, but we will take him first'," they said happily.

Regarding his future image as a player, he expressed his hopes for growth, saying, 'I want him to hit .300, get 30 to 40 stolen bases, and consistently win the Best Nine award. I want people to say the Rakuten Eagles' middle infield is amazing. Not just the middle infield, but I also want him to go to the WBC and other such events.'
