Ryota Igarashi, who appeared on the CS Fuji TV ONE program 'Professional baseball News 2026' broadcast on the 23rd, pointed out the starting rotation as the key for the Softbank Hawks to win the Japan Series, stating, 'I think the point will be how well the starters can keep the game competitive against a strong hitting team.' Igarashi continued by mentioning concerns for the Softbank Hawks, saying, 'Regarding Moinelo, his previous outing wasn't in very good condition, so it will be extremely important to see how much he can improve his form... As for Yugo Maeda, he pitched well during the regular season, but the question is what kind of performance he will deliver in the Japan Series. While it is something to look forward to, there is also anxiety about whether he can be counted on.'

He also commented, "Overall, I pointed out the pitcher as the key, but the depth of the batting lineup belongs to The Hawks. It is a matter of how much they can cover there."
