Hatsuhiko Tsuji, who appeared on the CS Fuji TV ONE program 'Professional baseball News 2026' broadcast on the 23rd, pointed to 'defense and base running' as the keys for the Softbank Hawks to win the Japan Series starting on the 24th. Tsuji commented, 'Regarding the lineup, since it is a short series and they do not face each other regularly, I think it will be difficult to score a large number of runs. Therefore, it comes down to mistakes in defense or mistakes in base running. Speaking of base running, the Softbank Hawks are phenomenal and amazing. Watching the CS, I noticed DeNA had some lapses in defense and lapses in base running. In that regard, the Softbank Hawks' center fielder Shuto has a wide range in defense and his defense is ironclad. He also has great speed.'
