Hatsuhiko Tsuji and Ryota Igarashi, who appeared on the CS Fuji TV ONE program 'Professional baseball News 2026' broadcast on the 23rd, predicted the outcome of the Japan Series starting on the 24th.

Hatsuhiko Tsuji predicted that the Softbank Hawks would become the champions of Japan with 4 wins and 2 losses, commenting, "Part of it is that I often watched the Pacific League, but I was vividly shown the strength of this year's Softbank Hawks. That is the main reason."

Ryota Igarashi also predicted a Softbank Hawks championship with 4 wins and 2 losses. Igarashi continued, "It's about revenge for two years ago... Two years ago, I thought they would win with an overwhelming win, but that wasn't the case. There are still players who carry that frustration, so I think their feelings toward this year have become even stronger..."
