On the 23rd, Lotte conducted a draft pick greeting for their first-round selection, Yuto Yonezawa.

Kaoru Takahashi, General Manager of Roster Management, Yasuhiro Enoki, Amateur Scouting Director, and Kazuma Mike, the scout in charge, attended the official draft greeting. Through the team, Yonezawa expressed his enthusiasm, saying, 'My goal is to pitch as a key member of the team right from my first year as a ready-to-play asset. I want to further refine my fastball, which is my greatest strength, and work hard to level up my overall performance. I also want to learn and absorb many things from Shuta Takano, who is my senior from Kansai University.'
