On the 23rd, the Seibu Lions announced that they will hold the fan appreciation event 'LIONS THANKS FESTA 2026 supported by Olive' at Belluna Dome on November 28th.

Under the theme 'Connect at an overwhelmingly close distance again this year!', numerous events will be held where fans can interact with players at the largest scale among the 12 teams. Starting today, sales for viewing tickets have begun on the official ticket site, The Lions Ticket (web), and a special event website has also been launched.

Anyone with a viewing ticket can participate in events such as high-fives and original hand warmer distribution where players greet fans, high-five base running, and 'Look That Way' games for children in junior high school or younger.

2026 Fan Club members can participate in even more events through advance lotteries. They can spend time interacting with players at an overwhelmingly close distance, such as at photo sessions where they can take selfies with players—a familiar sight on the team's official social media after hero interviews—or during catch experiences with players and coaches.

On the ground, the player-versus-player baseball showdown 'Overwhelming Entertainment Baseball!', which was very popular last year, will be held with the match time extended by one hour from last year. All players will participate, and visitors can enjoy an event full of entertainment elements, including serious competition as well as unpredictable special rules.

Additionally, the '2026 Draft New Player Unveiling' will be held, where eight players, including first-round draft pick pitcher Keito Kawajiri, are scheduled to appear before the fans.

Starting today at 10:00 AM, applications for the advance lottery for viewing tickets have opened for 2026 season seat holders and 2026 The Lions fan club members.

Player Association President Shuta Tonosaki's Comment

Thank you very much for all your support this season. This time, we players want to make it a day where we can express our gratitude to you. During last year's Entertainment Baseball, we had a lot of fun, like having our great senior, Nakamura, sprint at full speed (laughs). I am looking forward to meeting all the fans again this year at an overwhelmingly close distance!
