A left-handed pitcher characterized by a soft pitching form. At Okinawa Shogaku, he appeared in Koshien for four consecutive seasons from the spring of his second year to this summer, and became the winning pitcher at the summer Koshien in his second year. He was selected for the high school national team for two consecutive years starting from his second year, and his level of experience is outstanding, having contributed to a runner-up finish as the ace of the high school national team at the U-18 World Cup last September.
This summer, they were defeated in their first game by Yokohama, which features pitcher Shoki Oda, who has declared his intention to challenge American baseball.
