The Seibu Lions announced on the 20th that An-Ko Lin has returned to his home country.

An-Ko Lin commented through the team: "This season, my first year in Japan, was a year where I learned many things and was able to grow. On the other hand, I feel frustrated that I could not fight alongside the team until the end due to the impact of an injury. I will use this year's experience to achieve even better results next season and work hard to contribute to the team's championship. To all The Lions fans, thank you very much for your many passionate cheers this season. I look forward to your support again next season."

An-Ko Lin played in 76 games this season, his first year after transferring, recording a .220 batting average, 8 Home Runs, and 29 RBI.
