Mitsuhiro Kubo (52), the Orix Buffaloes' Deputy General Manager and Director of Administration, revealed that he will do his utmost to persuade the FA-eligible players announced today to stay with the team. This season, players such as Tajima, Mune, and Nakagawa have acquired domestic FA rights. In preparation for the possibility of these rights being exercised, the Hanshin Tigers are currently conducting a survey regarding the acquisition of Nakagawa. The club intends to allow players to remain with the team even after exercising their rights, as they have done in the past. 'Naturally, we want them to stay. As a club, we will conduct negotiations for them to remain with us in good faith,' he emphasized.
