Lotte announced on the 12th that as part of the Chiba Smile Kids Project initiative, they will donate a total of 454 sets of baseball equipment to elementary schools within Chiba Prefecture.

The 'Chiba Kids Smile Project' is an initiative led by The Marines in collaboration with partner companies. Its purpose is to create opportunities for children to become familiar with sports and discover the joy of baseball. The items being donated this time include a complete set of baseball equipment, such as tee-ball bats, balls, equipment baskets, and Target Nine (a target-hitting game).

The Marines are conducting "baseball-style classes" in school physical education programs. Using tee-ball bats, balls, and Target Nine equipment, the program is designed so that children can enjoy baseball-style exercises regardless of whether they have prior baseball experience.

The equipment donated this time will be used in classes and during recess to help create an environment where children can continuously enjoy baseball at each elementary school. The Marines will continue to work with partner companies through the Chiba Smile Kids Project to create opportunities for children to enjoy sports and to promote baseball.

List of Donated Equipment

One tee bat, twelve tee balls, one equipment basket, and one Target Nine set

*Donated to each school at any time.
