On the 10th, the Rakuten Eagles announced that they will hold the 'Rokken Baseball Festa Supported by BASE FOOD' across the six prefectures of Tohoku on Saturday, November 21st. As part of 'TOHOKU SMILE ACTION'—an initiative to nurture children's dreams through baseball and sports while bringing energy and inspiration to the people of Tohoku—Rakuten Eagles players will provide baseball instruction to children.

The event was held in two parts: the morning session for elementary school students and the afternoon session for junior high school students. This event, where professional baseball players provide direct instruction, is a perfect opportunity for children to interact with sports professionals and experience the joy of sports and baseball. In the morning session specifically, a program was prepared that even children with no baseball experience could enjoy with peace of mind.

Participants will be recruited from the general public, and applications are being accepted on the team's website starting today. Additionally, on Friday, November 20th, the day before the event, Rakuten Eagles players will conduct the 'Six Prefectures School Visit' to elementary schools across the six prefectures of Tohoku, providing time for direct interaction with children through baseball experiences and Q&A sessions.

*Regarding the "Rokken Fan Festa" held in five prefectures of the Tohoku region, there will be no event held in 2026.
