Orix Buffaloes pitcher Anderson Espinoza has won the most wins title, his first career title. In his third year with the team, he worked at full capacity as a cornerstone of the starting rotation this season. He recorded an excellent performance of 13 wins and 6 losses with a 2.71 ERA in 23 games, sharing the title with Nippon-Ham's Kitayama. He is the first foreign pitcher in club history to win a title. The foreign right-hander, who returned home on the 5th, released a comment of joy through the club.
I am truly proud to have won the most wins title alongside Kitayama. Coming from a far-off country and achieving these results here in Japan is a true honor for me, and I will continue to be sincerely grateful for it forever. I would like to offer my congratulations to Kitayama. I also want to express my gratitude to all the Pacific League starters who gave me the opportunity to compete together throughout this long season. Everyone performed truly wonderfully. Seeing so many great starters pitching against each other every week made me want to work even harder, prepare better, and give my all every time I stepped onto the mound. I will continue to do my best and keep working hard so that I can continue to grow as a pitcher. I am grateful to everyone who supported me throughout the season.
